It is with great sadness that the club has learnt of the passing of Geoff Hirst and his beloved wife Joan. They were very long time members of the club, exceptionally well respected and universally liked.
Geoff and Joan’s daughter Viki has very kindly given the club permission to post details of their funeral, and I’m sure that many of you will want to attend and pay your last respects.

The funeral will be held at Park Wood Crematorium in Elland ( HX5 9HZ) at 12.45pm on Monday 22nd of January.
The family have requested that there be family flowers only, but donations can be made to the British Lung Foundation.

The wake will be held at Crow Nest Golf Club, Hove Edge, Brighouse HD6 2LN, following the service at the crematorium. The family have asked that if anyone has any photos or stories of Geoff and Joan, that they bring them to the wake as they would love to share them.

May they rest together in peace, they will be sorely missed.
